Oil bottle for 2-stroke mixture
When tuning and racing, the oil pump is often removed, requiring the driver to mix the fuel themselves. The correct mixture of oil and fuel is crucial to avoid engine damage.
A useful tool for those who mix their own oil is an oil measuring cup , equipped with clear and standardized scales for accurate dosing of two-stroke oil. The measuring cup can be closed and transported, which means you don't have to drive around with a large oil bottle. Its markings are resistant to both oil and fuel, and a special sealing ring ensures that your storage remains clean.
The measuring glass has three different scales for mixing depending on the amount of fuel (max. 12 liters of gasoline):
-
1:50 = 2% oil (for up to 12 liters of gasoline)
-
1:40 = 2.5% oil (for up to 10 liters of gasoline)
-
1:33 = 3% oil (for up to 8 liters of gasoline)
Tip: Many drivers also use the measuring cup as an overflow bottle for their carburetors.
