The Stage6 MKII 70cc is a powerful upgrade that succeeds the popular Racing cylinder from Stage6. The new version MKII, is completely redesigned and offers increased performance right out of the box. The cylinder is made of aluminum and has a nikasil treatment that improves durability. An important change from its predecessor is that the kit now comes with a domed piston, which is the same type used on the Stage6 R/T cylinder, instead of a flat piston. This provides more efficient combustion.
Another improvement is that the entire cylinder has been thermally optimized to effectively dissipate heat and thus reduce the risk of overheating. The cylinder head has been redesigned into a single unit and is now designed with improved cooling channels. The generous scavenging channels and the new pentagonal design further contribute to optimizing air and fuel flow.
With a correct setup, the racing cylinder can produce around 17 - 19 hp , while the sports one can produce 15 - 17 hp without any additional processing.
